Crime Prevention Meeting
October 21 10 to 11am The Historic Charles Street Association, in cooperation with The Downtown Partnership, is providing a forum for its members to learn "Street Smarts" and "Office Safety" tips from a recognized leader in the field of crime prevention. Larry Lewis, Director of The Downtown Public Safety Coalition, will conduct a presentation on robbery awareness, prevention and response. He routinely gives training sessions throughout the city, and we are fortunate to have this valuable service available to us. The meeting will be held at The Downtown Partnership, 217 N. The Walters Art Museum 600 N. Charles Street
October 23 3pm CSI: Criminal Forensic Techniques and One Ancient Egyptian Mummy. In 2008, the University of Maryland and the Walters Art Museum performed at CT scan on the Walters' mummy to conduct a "virtual autopsy."
